FEMALE INTENTION FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN MALAYSIA
Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to analyse the factor that determine the entrepreneurial intention of young educated female students in Malaysia. Research model in this study was drawn on the literature on the components of Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) and contextual factors. Based on the model, a questionnaire was developed and distributed to 172 female student of Malaysian’s institution. This study tested five hypotheses on factors that influence entrepreneurial intention. The result showed that attitude toward entrepreneurship, perceived behavioural control and subjective norms have significant impact on entrepreneurial intention of female students.
